Walk-in Hours

We recommend coming in as early as possible during Walk-in Hours.

Mon - Thurs

8:00 am – 5:30 pm

Friday

9:00 am – 4:30 pm

*We will do all we can to accommodate you when you drop-in, however, if all drop-in appointments fill up, we will schedule your next visit. ​**note: Due to an increase demand in mental healthcare, you may experience wait times for services after your admissions process.

Your First Appointment

What to expect when you arrive for your first appointment. Be sure to bring your Insurance Card with you if you have health insurance coverage.

Please allow for up to one hour when you come in.

1. Arrive

Arrive at 200 Maine Street, Suite A.  You will go to the first-floor reception of the Bert Nash Center. 

If your insurance is provided through a family member, please have their Social Security number and date of birth available. We may not be able to access your insurance without this information.

Are you in crisis?

For mental health and substance use crisis, visit the Treatment & Recovery Center.


You can call the Douglas County Crisis line at 785-841-2345 or 988 to speak to a crisis counselor.

You will not have to wait for an appointment.
