Bert Nash Center Welcomes New Senior Director of Finance, Dani Edwards

The Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Dani Edwards as Senior Director of Finance.
Dani has more than 12 years of finance and leadership experience, most recently at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, where she focused on financial reporting, stakeholder management, compliance, operational risk, and organizational leadership. With a proven record of driving financial strategy, strengthening operational systems, and leading cross-functional teams, she is well-positioned to guide Bert Nash Center’s fiscal stewardship during a pivotal time for our agency and the community we serve.
In her previous roles, Dani managed complex budgets, streamlined financial operations to improve efficiency, and partnered with executive leadership to align resources with mission-driven priorities. Her approach combines technical expertise with a collaborative, people-centered style that ensures financial decisions support both organizational stability and client care.

Dani holds a Master of Business Administration: Information Technology Management and will finish a Master of Legal Studies from American Public University at the end of year. She graduated with her Bachelor’s from William Jewell College with four majors: Accounting, Applied Critical Thought & Inquiry, Business Administration: Banking & Finance, and Economics. Having already completed the necessary coursework and professional experience requirements, Dani will begin sitting for the Certified Management Accounting (CMA) exams in 2026.
