Congratulations to Rosemary Corbin, who will be the new Access Center team leader, replacing Sherry Demarest, who is retiring. And thank you, Sherry, for your years of service on behalf of Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center and its consumers. We will miss you!
Corbin said of her predecessor: “For far longer than I’ve been a part of the Bert Nash team, Sherry has acted as the fearless leader of the Access Center. For my time here, Sherry has been my mentor. She has provided experience and support as well as professional guidance. Her great clinical skills, and of course her sense of humor, will be missed tremendously. She is a wonderful supervisor and I am thankful I’ve had the opportunity to work under her direction for over two years.”
Added Eunice Ruttinger, Adult Services director, “Sherry has been a rock in the Access Center for many years. It was under Sherry’s watch that open access was started and her team is a major player in this successful initiative. Sherry is the consummate professional and handles challenging situations with ease and grace. She will be greatly missed by her team and others in the Center.”
