YOU created opportunities to ensure quality mental health care remains available for our community members.
You made it possible for us to expand our hours and add 33 new positions to keep pace with the increasing demand for mental health care.
You made it possible for us to offer summer psychosocial camp for 19 children; you assisted us in helping 32 individuals secure and maintain meaningful employment; and you helped us serve 161 individuals and 22 families who experienced houselessness.
At the Bert Nash Center, we live with gratitude each day because of these invaluable commitments to help stabilize services for behavioral health in Douglas County.
These are just a few of the examples of the impact you’ve had in 2021, and although we’ve expanded and made progress, we have so much more to do to prioritize and break the destructive cycle of untreated mental illness.
We need your help again. I’m asking you to join the Bert Nash Center in making a difference for those clients who are unable to pay for services. The average outstanding client bill is $166. We have over 2,000 clients who will struggle to pay their bill. Your gift will provide clients the ability to focus on their recovery rather than the added financial pressures when seeking mental health care.
A gift of $100, $250, $500, or even $1000 will go towards our NashCare to cover the costs for those people we serve who are either uninsured or otherwise unable to pay.
To make a tax-deductible gift, text Live4Gratitude to 91999 or go to our secure website at www.bertnash.org/donate.
On behalf of our team members, board members, and the people whom we are privileged to serve, thank you.
