Meet our WRAP therapists – Alisa Galvin

With the start of school approaching, we want to recognize our individual WRAP therapists. WRAP (Working to Recognize Alternative Possibilities) is a Bert Nash Center in-school therapy program, in partnership with Douglas County schools. The groundbreaking program began in 1997 and continues to thrive today. WRAP assigns a master’s-level clinician to a school to work collaboratively with the school’s mental health professionals to help with the behavioral, emotional, and psychological problems students can have. We are proud of our WRAP therapists and wish them and all Douglas County students and their families, as well as teachers, staff, and administrators a successful school year.

"Why do I do what I do? Someone showed up for me continually as an adolescent. It only takes one caring person, a trusted adult, to change the trajectory of a student's life. Why I do what I do is simple: not showing up for someone is not an option."
