Meet our WRAP therapists – Nicole Berkley

With the start of school approaching, we want to recognize our individual WRAP therapists. WRAP (Working to Recognize Alternative Possibilities) is a Bert Nash Center in-school therapy program, in partnership with Douglas County schools. The groundbreaking program began in 1997 and continues to thrive today. WRAP assigns a master’s-level clinician to a school to work collaboratively with the school’s mental health professionals to help with the behavioral, emotional, and psychological problems students can have. We are proud of our WRAP therapists and wish them and all Douglas County students and their families, as well as teachers, staff, and administrators a successful school year.

"Working at Bert Nash and in USD 497 has always been a goal of mine. I was born and raised in Lawrence, and have been a Lawrence student myself, and I am excited to be able to give back to my community in such an important way. I am so lucky to have this position and be able to support students in my community."
