Meet our WRAP therapists – Rose Murray

With the start of school approaching, we want to recognize our individual WRAP therapists. WRAP (Working to Recognize Alternative Possibilities) is a Bert Nash Center in-school therapy program, in partnership with Douglas County schools. The groundbreaking program began in 1997 and continues to thrive today. WRAP assigns a master’s-level clinician to a school to work collaboratively with the school’s mental health professionals to help with the behavioral, emotional, and psychological problems students can have. We are proud of our WRAP therapists and wish them and all Douglas County students and their families, as well as teachers, staff, and administrators a successful school year.

"I can still remember my middle school years, and having at least one supportive and encouraging adult helped me cancel out the negative/discouraging feedback tremendously. Every day, I hope to be this adult for one or multiple students. Growing up is hard, so I love to support the students I serve and build resiliency skills along the way."
