Meet our WRAP therapists – Suzanne Nicolet

With the start of school approaching, we want to recognize our individual WRAP therapists. WRAP (Working to Recognize Alternative Possibilities) is a Bert Nash Center in-school therapy program, in partnership with Douglas County schools. The groundbreaking program began in 1997 and continues to thrive today. WRAP assigns a master’s-level clinician to a school to work collaboratively with the school’s mental health professionals to help with the behavioral, emotional, and psychological problems students can have. We are proud of our WRAP therapists and wish them and all Douglas County students and their families, as well as teachers, staff, and administrators a successful school year.

"Navigating a large high school and young adulthood can be overwhelming and many students may need support due to personal, home, or school difficulties. I do this work to be that check-in person who encourages students to find and develop their individual strengths and skills to handle whatever challenges are before them while in school, and to prepare for their life journey beyond high school."
