In 2025, the Bert Nash Center faced a year of significant challenges as the need for mental health services continued to grow across Douglas County. Even during a time of financial and organizational change, the focus remained the same: making sure individuals and families could continue to access the care and support they needed.
With the support of donors, volunteers, community partners, and staff, Bert Nash continued serving nearly 2,500 individuals each month while improving access to care, shortening wait times, and providing critical crisis response services throughout the community.
Most importantly, the year highlighted the strength and compassion of the people behind the work. Staff continued to show up every day with dedication and care, and the community continued to stand beside them.
The organization’s 2025 theme, Through Care We Rise, became a reflection of what was possible when a community comes together to support one another. Together, Bert Nash and its supporters helped ensure that mental health care remained accessible, responsive, and full of hope for Douglas County.
